Sunway Lagoon Theme Park

A returning post after many months of blog-resting, as recently don't really have motivation and time to write a blog. However, today is Sunday and I do love to do something other than writing my Master's thesis. So, I come up with my pending blog post about the Sunway Lagoon fun trip which happened 2 months ago, what a good delay, but it happened to be rather than not right?

I always wanted to revisit Sunway Lagoon after so many years and I got my strong determination when knowing that it has built Vuvuzela which is the largest water ride in the world. The theme park ticket is rated at RM70, but Sunway Lagoon is celebrating its 20 years old birthday so we managed to grab a ticket at only RM20 at 20th of every month for the first 1000 customers. Quickly pay your worth visit until the promotion ends in October!

We got our wristband for only RM20 by queuing one day before, start to queue since 7.30pm and bought the ticket at 9pm but end up realized that people who come at 10pm managed to get it also  Well, it actually depends your luck, so do come early to avoid disappointment.

Rendezvous Steak Garden @ Kampung Pandan

I am definitely a cheese lover and couldn't imagine how is life without cheese. Longing for cheese fondue since last week when viewed cheese photos from instagram and get to know a western food restaurant nearby that served good cheese fondue with low price. I couldn't wait any longer and decided to pay a visit on this weekend, to Rendezvous Steak Garden.

New Lappie

昨天在学校上网做功课时，突然遇到了Microsoft User最怕遇到的问题---Blue Screen！完全没有预告，找资料时Browser突然Not Responding，然后就Blue Screen，完全来不及Backup我的资料！心情紧张死了，里面有很多我读硕士的资料，没了很麻烦啊！其实之前那架HP手提电脑也是时候退休了，有时会太热过度而无端端关机，用了差不多快4年，只不过没想到它要死的时候就连遗言也不给我，让我在毫无预警的状况下接受死讯！

还好我有一个万事通的Darling，从学校回来后就带我去Lowyat买电脑，还买了Hard disc drive external case来帮我 recover 储存在死掉Hard disc里的资料~ 我的Darling真是让我越来越佩服了，竟然还会用Software来拯救我的资料，他太棒了~~ 和他在一起真的没烦恼，大事小事都是他的事，闯祸了就等他来收拾，而且从来都不吝啬花钱在我身上，又疼我也愿意陪我做我爱做的事，找男人不是就是要这种吗？

Darling买了一架耐用品牌的手提电脑给我，用过了DELL，HP，Toshiba，Lenovo，Darling说还是 Acer 最耐用最轻盈，价钱也合理，所以就买了这架给我啦~ 其实我本来要求很简单，只要耐用又轻就可以了，不用Touch Screen不用很花俏，最重要要便宜！可是看了看Darling说这架比较好，要用就要用好一点的，才不会那么快坏~ 我也没啥异议啦，反正都是他给钱的~

 

 

我还满喜欢这架的，刚出产一个月，有2G 的 Graphic Card，8G 的 RAM，用Intel Core i5 Processor，足够我这个喜欢玩电脑游戏又喜欢Multitasking 的人使用，完全不用怕当机啦~ 而且还免费送了很多礼物，物超所值呢~

 

 

 

我喜欢晚上关灯看戏玩电脑，所以键盘有灯是我最欢喜的事~ 以前的电脑键盘都没灯，对我来说真的很麻烦，还要用手机照啊照的！

 

 

 

本来不要求花俏功能和Touch Screen的我，回家用了用后觉得Touch Screen真的很好用，现在完全不需要用滑鼠了~ 方便也快捷很多呢！

 

 

Thanks Darling! 我爱死这架电脑了，又快又不会热，不用怕它突然当机或关机啦~

新加坡Xmas游-Day 2.1 (Chinatown)

今天依旧早上早早醒，然后从JB搭车去新加坡玩。我们今天的旅游景点是Chinatown牛车水、Gardens by the bay和Marina Bay, 由于照片太多了，所以将会分 3 个 Part 来写。之前来新加坡也是曾经来过牛车水了，可是并没有深入的去逛逛，只买了些吃的就离开了，所以这次补回，也去牛车水重要的景点佛牙寺参观~

Dome @ The Gardens Mall

I started to hate hanging out on weekend, especially to Midvalley, it is just too crowded and hard to move every step forward. But today darling just insisted to bring me go Midvalley for a walk and movie, I hope next time Sunway Pyramid, or Paradigm would be our next favorite hang out spot instead of Midvalley, although have to pay the LDP toll fees. :( 

For today brunch, we come to Dome, a place I always wanted to visit for its pie's sake since I read a blog post introducing it. Unfortunately, this was my first visit and probably be my last visit to Dome. Food is average where other western food franchises can offer better one, service was terrible and I think it is rather expensive (probably I felt the food not worth that value). Since our order time, we had waited 50 minutes and requested two times bill checking just to get our food ready! In fact the restaurant was not fully packed even in the lunch time, less than 10 tables were seated. 

Gourmet Chicken Pie (RM25) - A homestyle chicken and mushroom filling topped with a golden pastry cap and served in a porcelain bowl, served with sauteed vegetables. In the menu picture, my sauteed vegetables ought to be mushroom (my favorite), cherry tomato and green peas! But today they replaced with baby corn (my loathed), carrots and broccoli. Besides the baby corn, I actually feel okay with the rest of vegetables, but they were just too raw, I felt puked!

The soup in the pie is quite yummy but darling claimed that it just tastes like Maggi instant soup. Filling is quite generous but the chicken chunks have little bit of bad smell. 

Spicy Olio Pasta (RM23) - Spaghetti tossed with herbs, garlic, chili flakes, red capsicum, spinach, parsley and zucchini, with chicken pastrami. Spaghetti was cooked perfectly as it is still springy, taste just good and flavorful, but darling claimed that it is too spicy! His lips were swollen after eating that, to his opinion he still prefer Aglio Olio from Italiannies.

Boost Juice Bars

I had a voucher for the boost juice bars and will be expired on coming March. Thus, since we were hanging out at Midvalley yesterday and it has a outlet there, we decided to use up the voucher to purchase two low fat smoothies. Those were yogurt smoothies anyhow, has lower sugar level and more healthy as it has good bacteria for promoting bowel health.






We order two original size low fat smoothies, all berry bang for me and mango passion for my darling. Guess what? We had the second one at only RM1~ ♡♥♡♥



I love my all berry bang very much! It is sourish sweet which fits my tastebud very well, not too extremely sour as like we eat strawberry and most importantly, no sugar was added! Darling's mango passion is not up to my liking if compared with all berry bang, because it comes with little bitterness.

Although the price of these smoothies are a little bit higher than other beverage available in the mall like chatime, each a cup and etc but I would prefer this one because it is more healthy and yummy of course! It is not too sweet like those drinks with artificial sugar.

I am even in love with this rather than Starbucks, if it has a outlet like Starbucks which offered a cozy slacking place where I can kill time, it would definitely be my first choice!

新加坡Xmas游-Day 1 (Bugis。Orchard)

话说虽然我和Darling在一起已经接近四年了，不过我们从来没一起度过圣诞节这个浪漫的节日。之前几年我不是回家乡就是去旅行，而今年我们终于有机会一起庆祝圣诞节啦。今年的圣诞节由于Darling的家人全都在柔佛州，所以我们也到柔佛一起和他家人团聚啦，毕竟他们基督教徒总希望圣诞节可以团团圆圆一家人聚在一起。虽然他们一家是基督教徒，不过今年的圣诞节我们也是简简单单的一家人一起出外吃火锅，过后回家吃蛋糕喝红酒，并没有去教堂。

难得来到了柔佛州，又遇上圣诞佳节，我们当然不忘过去新加坡看看Orchard的灯饰咯~ 星期五从KL驾车到马六甲，过了一夜后星期六吃饱就继续开车去柔佛啦~ 虽然路程比我回槟城的短，可是就是不知道为什么我总觉得回槟城好像没那么累也没那么远的感觉，可能是自己家乡的关系吧，而且半路可以停下怡保买我最爱的盐焗鸡~

这天我们一到柔佛后，休息一下再去游泳后，就搭得士去JB CIQ然后坐巴士Causeway Link CW2 去新加坡Queen Street (车费两人RM5)。到达后，最靠近的MRT站其实是Bugis站，就在这间McDonald's旁边直走就是了，而有ERP的这一条整条都叫Queen Street，之前不知道巴士停在Queen Street哪里，先上网查到Bras Basah这个MRT站就在Queen Street，我们不知道怎样走就直接开GPS找Bras Basah MRT，其实应该找Bugis MRT才对，因为Bras Basah在Queen Street的尾端，而巴士停在Queen Street的前端，最靠近的站应该是Bugis。

累透透游新加坡-Day 4 (Bugis/Orchard/Flyer/China Town/Clarke Quay)

今天是在新加坡的第四天，行程是去游新加坡的几个主要名胜地，包括乌节路、新加坡大型摩天轮Flyer、牛车水和Clarke Quay。同样一早从柔佛出发，得知Bugis是个很好购物的地方，所以我们的第一站来到了Bugis，这次我们是乘搭从柔佛到Bugis的巴士直接到达的。可能我们太早来了吧，很多店都还没开，走走一下眼看卖的东西都和马来西亚差不多可是价钱更贵，所以也没有什么兴致去逛了，直接走到Bugis MRT Station搭地铁去Orchard。

在新加坡的几天，只买了一双Esprit的袜子，因为实在有需要，过后就没买任何东西了，果然新加坡不是什么购物天堂咧~留着钱去香港这个名副其实的购物天堂大买特买好过~在Bugis走了一下，我们就前往乌节路，因为要去看4层楼的Forever21（在313@Somerset）。

KFC a.m. Multigrain

Happy Friday! A wonderful day is not started without a good breakfast! Of 3 main meals, I love breakfast the most because it signifies good beginning of a day, and most importantly I always feel hungry when wake up in the morning. What is better than having a nice and satisfied meal after wake up from long night sleep? I especially love western breakfast, may be just a bread or egg could cheer me up for whole day. Today, darling initially planned to bring me go for McDonald's breakfast, but when we were on our way, OneFM DJ kept promoting KFC a.m. multigrain breakfast and claiming that there is 50% off for it! What to ponder about again? We straight drove to KFC just for it! 

Not many people queuing as like McDonald's breakfast promotion, in front of me just have 2 customers but still we have to wait 15 minutes for the burger

累透透游新加坡-Day 3 (Sentosa。Marina Bay)

那天在Universal Studio玩一整天后，我们隔天一整天都没有去新加坡，因为太累了，再加上Darling姐姐和姐夫休假，我们就一起在柔佛吃吃东西、逛逛街、游游泳，晚上Darling还请我们吃海鲜大餐呢~ 过着休闲的一天~

而第二天呢，我们也是同样一早出发去新加坡，只不过今天比较悠闲，由于Aunty要去她妹妹家做客，我们也没什么地方要去，就比较迟出门，这天算是我们在新加坡的第三天。早上和Aunty搭地铁去Yio Chu Kang站，等Darling表弟CK来地铁站接我们搭巴士去他家，在他家做客一下，顺便一起吃午餐后，我和Darling两人就自己跑去Sentosa Island走走啦，留下Aunty在她妹妹家打牙胶，谢谢Mary阿姨的招待，午餐好好吃，尤其是烧鸭~

长那么大，我从来没去过Sentosa Island，这是我第一次去呢（可能有不过我有记忆以来不记得有去过）~ 昨天去环球影城玩一整天，今天就继续去走走圣陶沙的其他地方~ 里面有很多Attractions（每一个有自己的收费），包括海边啦、Flying Fox啦、高尔夫啦、骑脚车啦、蝴蝶和昆虫公园、缆车、水族馆、像云顶的空中飞人体验、鸟园、Siloso堡垒等等的景点，不过，这些东西马来西亚都有啦，又不是特别好玩，我们就不想多花新币去玩了，纯粹在里面走走不用钱的景点。当然，我们还是付了S$3去搭Sentosa的LRT，一整个下午就花了S$3走透透圣陶沙。

今天同样去了Vivocity搭Sentosa LRT去逛圣陶沙的其他地方，今天我们的目标是要逛完Imbiah 和 Beach Station 的景点~ 新加坡的海岸都有满满的运输工业，连海上都是一大堆运输船，要看一片宁净又一望无际的海真是难~

累透透游新加坡-Day 2 (Universal Studio)

今天是去新加坡的第二天，我们决定花一整天在Universal Studio玩~ 今天是马来西亚国庆日，不过不是新加坡假期，自以为是地以为会没什么人潮，胆粗粗的一早从柔佛出门，出发到Sentosa去。我们也没有事先买入门票，因为怕遇到下雨天，打算去到那儿才买。

今天Darling妈妈和我们一起同游游乐园~ 一大早搭巴士去Kranji站，再搭地铁去Harbour Front~

肥李海鲜餐馆 @ Melaka Town

肥李海鲜餐馆是一间我们在马六甲会时常光顾的煮炒店。每次光顾，都是为了它家的大螃蟹而来的。之前也曾经Blog过它了，这次老爸老妈特地南下吉隆坡来参加他们歌唱老师的结婚晚宴，由于他们也好久没去马六甲了，我就带他们来个马六甲美食旅，到处吃吃喝喝。

这次的马六甲之旅他们都不愿去走一些旅游胜地，只志在吃些好料，所以我们从早吃到晚，肚子没有一份钟挨过饿，肚皮快撑胀死了。早上带他们去吃会吃上瘾的辣死你妈后，就去Darling 家坐坐，然后就 Check in Hotel 顺便冲凉，接着就去牛顿饮食中心吃有猪油渣的极品Popiah，顺便逛逛 Dataran Pahlawan，晚餐就带他们来品尝一下比较不一样风味的螃蟹。这次他们和Durian Chendol无缘分，是他们的可惜，下一次再来马六甲时都不懂是几时的事咯！

Mad on You!

McDonald's sometimes really freaking me out. For its breakfast day, I was unable and unwilling to go and queue for a free McMuffin, due to no 24 hours McDonald outlet on my way to school, and I really feel reluctant to purposely drive and queue for a couple of hours just for a RM4.50 McMuffin (Should be lesser value since no coffee is included). However I am still hoping to get a free one, very ambivalent of me right!? So I nagged on my darling to find the printed coupon on newspaper in order to get one free McMuffin without queuing (Sometimes I also beh tahan with myself, want something free but just don't want pay out any effort). At last, he couldn't find because the newspaper boy in his office has collected back the old newspaper, and thus promise to buy me one today. 

So today, we woke at 7.30am and purposely drove to Equine park just to enjoy our lovely breakfast together, but the stupid McDonald told us muffin is finish! What the hell you open 24 hours to sell breakfast and you tell me muffin is finish?? I am in sick but still wake up early just for it, and you tell me finish and call me buy fillet-o-fish or pancake!? I don't eat sweet thing when I am hungry and I can buy fillet-o-fish during McValue time but not at this hour with extra price okay! I am here only for the muffin and long waited coffee. With extremely disappointed mood, we left McDonald at Equine park and jam for around half hour to get back home with empty hand. 

Darling,

In the car, I just keep blaming and show temper to you. Scolding you, McDonald, every car, the motorist scratched my side mirror, the police control the traffic and even the area that jammed. Darling, really sorry to be mad on you; and thanks for being patient on me without refuting me back. I have no idea why recently I always being hot tempered and kept on finding things to argue with you. During my way to school, I was thinking to say sorry to you and buy you a breakfast when passing through the SS McDonald outlet (opened at 10am), but ended up I didn't do all this because I doubt the outlet is opened at 9.10am although light is on inside. I was start day-dreaming that you already bought me a set of breakfast at home, as my 3 years understanding on you. And this becomes reality when I reached home, see how I understand you so much! Thanks for the breakfast, it is not just a breakfast, it is your caring! 

I am so glad to have you in my life, so tolerant to me! Although I expected you will secretly buy me a breakfast but I still feel touched when see all this! But hold on, why everything is mine? My friend just thought I eat 2 sets and so shock with it! I only have your coffee!! 

I have no idea why I suddenly fall in love with coffee, insanely. I dislike McDonald's coffee during undergraduate time, it was so bitter and taste awfully. And I only drink 3-in-1 Nescafe during my exam period! But now I like it so much, since I had the black coffee pack from Jakarta, so pure and aromatic. Now I start dislike the 3-in-1 coffee that taste so sweet and creamy and lack of coffee essence. Are people grow older and maturer, they just can savor the sweetness and dainty behind bitterness? I love bitter gourd and coffee so much nowadays, which I hate the most during my childhood.

王帝鸭 DucKing @ PJ Jaya One

有天我师奶毛病又犯，手握着一张餐厅优惠券，吵Darling带我去PJ Jaya One光顾王帝鸭餐厅（DucKing）。特地驾车去那么远吃一顿饭，不疯狂，因为以前我更曾为了吃Satay Celup而特地驾车去马六甲，吃完又返回吉隆坡。 虽然为了那滴点折扣浪费车油好像很不划算，不过还好王帝鸭的食物的确不错，改天还会再来。

我的优惠券是可以用RM50.80 (nett) 来享用“北京鸭二度”（原价RM66.80）。所谓的北京鸭二度就是可以一只北京鸭两种吃法，除了可以享用面皮包北京鸭皮外，还有宫保式炒鸭肉。虽然只有我们两人，但是食物实在太好吃了，我们两人仍然可以吃完，还另外点了猪油捞饭来搭配宫保鸭肉。

Nyok Lan Kajang Satay, Restoran Malaysia

Whenever people talk about Kajang Satay, my first reaction will always be: "Huh? I don't think it is good, do you?" and quite reluctant to drive that far for a so-so satay which can also be found near my house hawker center. Previously I always visit Sate Kajang Haji Samuri because it is popular, really big restaurant, and we thought it is the best satay shop in Kajang. However, every visit made me quite disappointed because the satay is dry and lean. But one thing make them outstanding is they offer many varieties of satay meat including rabbit meat!! I think this shop is just simply overrated and due to bulk production, the satay quality drops. My perception on Kajang Satay finally changed when I visited a shop sell really good Kajang Satay recently.  

During my 2nd year time, one of my coursemate from Kajang brought us to a corner lot satay shop and told us that Haji Samuri is just for tourist, they local people don't visit there but here. I only remembered I visited once, and then completely forget about everything. So every time when darling want Kajang Satay so much, we only drive to Haji Samuri. Until last Sunday, we watched a TV programme interviewed that shop and after searching over few blogs, we finally knew the shop called Restoran Malaysia, Nyok Lan Kajang Satay; and spontaneously drove to Kajang just for it.

Ramen Santouka 火头山拉面 @ Pavillion, KL

有天 Darling 到位于KL 的 UTM Campus干点事。所以我们晚餐则在附近的商场解决。我们是不常去KL区的，除非有特别事情做或者特定日子才会去。虽然Midvalley或其他PJ的大型购物广场离我们家也不算近，不过不知怎的却会常去，而且也不认为很远这样。总之我们就是认为KL很远就是了，可能有经过一条Smart Tunnel，又或者KL的路又窄又多车又多人吧，每次都很塞车，所以才会认为特别远吧，心理作祟。其实查查Google Map，Midvalley 和 Pavillion 距离我们家都是差不多，只不过一个不用给 Toll 钱，另外一个则需要。

言归正题，话说我们搞定正事后，就去 Pavillion 用晚餐啦，其实会去那边用晚餐也是我的师奶性格作祟，买了一本折扣券的书，里面有好多优惠券都可以用在 Pavillion 的餐厅里，难得都来到附近了，就去用掉一些餐券吧，不知怎的，我很喜欢用优惠券的感觉，左算右算占占便宜最让我开心了，算是一种嗜好吧！

火头山拉面，全球已有好多分行！可是马来西亚暂时只有一间而已，就在Pavillion 的Tokyo Street 里头！如果不是 Darling 的表弟猛赞这家拉面店，我们可能不会光顾，因为价钱不菲（其实过后想想，在 KL 这样的价钱是算Ok的，只不过不好面食的我会宁愿花同样的钱在别的食物上咯，比如说西餐~）

Shopping Spree at UNIQLO Sunway Pyramid

Today Uniqlo has another outlet open at Sunway Pyramid, knowing that they will give out free newly designed tote bag for the first 500 customers from the advertisement heard via radio, I and darling waked up early just to join in the crowd and have a big spend inside. We waked at 8.30am and reached the shop sharply at 10am, this was a big wrong as we should actually reach there by 9am, since in front of us already has more than 500 customers. But the tote bag is just another recycling bag with printed Uniqlo brands, so we were not upset at all for not able to grab the bag, we were more upset for the time spent in queue line as a result of getting late. 

The queue has extended to the Popular bookstore which is about 4-5 shops away with many snake turns in between. Luckily the staff could manage the queue line nicely and we at least knew where to start queue up (A staff will hold a plate written "Queue ends here" and following the end person of line), the queue actually move quite fast in fact. Spending around 1.5 hours in the line and finally manage to get into the shop. I never bought any Uniqlo clothing although stepped into their outlet at Midvalley quite a few times. The price was averagely higher but still affordable, but I was still hoping to buy during sales time. So, today is the day, as they are celebrating new outlet opening, some selected items will have crazy cut down in price in 4 days time.  Follow their fans page for more news.

So happening in Uniqlo, shops nearby (Baleno & Giordano) try to make discount up to 50% storewide but still lose to it! Hate some inconsiderate aunties and uncles try to cut queue in between (I don't know about youngsters but I saw three old folks doing this)! So old already still don't have brain to think! You don't like queuing and so do us, please be fair okay! I successfully reject an old woman for cutting queue in front of me, but why others don't reject? If you let them cut in, you should actually go to the end of line and start the queue all over again so that he/she replace your position, as this is not just your own problem, it is totally unfair to other people behind! You make them delay a step forward okay!

Skytrex Adventure

I love outdoor activities very much, especially those adventurous and sweating one, I just don't wanna miss one. The feeling of overwhelmed by the Mother Nature is just simply great, especially in greenery earth. Youngsters should not wait a minute to delay things they love to do, so this day we dated Jonathan's couple to come along for the Skytrex Adventure to boost our adrenalin rush and challenge my serious height phobia. I guess my height phobia is cured after this activity as I don't feel scare already when riding on Ferris wheel in Genting Highland afterwards. 

The Skytrex Adventure is located at the other side of Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam botanical garden. I visited the botanical garden once just for sight seeing and have never been to visit the skytrex park. Other than Skytrex, there are a lot more things to see such as 4 seasons house and other mini gardens. Actually I quite like this botanical garden because it is clean, big and beautiful. Free shuttle bus is available to travel you to different mini gardens, another option is renting a bicycle.

Halloween Horror Spirits @ Genting Highlands

As an authentic and traditional Chinese, I had never celebrated Halloween before and never knew how fun can Halloween bring to me, until this year Genting organized a Halloween party at their outdoor theme park, I just knew Halloween can be so crazily fun and I am totally in love with it!

I am quite timid and never ever dare to step into cinema for horror movie again after my first experience on Juon, I thought I will be frightened and could not sleep after joining this event, but fact turned out in opposite way, I just can't help myself enjoy more and had so much fun instead of scariness!

This event only held 4 days, which were 19, 20, 26, 27 of October from 8pm to 11pm, only for 13 years old and above. The whole theme park was decorated to spooky one, and 5 major zones were mapped out which are: Horror circus, Bridge of helplessness, Hospital hallway spirits, Horror movie night and Spirits free zone. Last Saturday, we were here for horror!

Got up to Genting Highlands straight after our skytrex adventure, although tired and exhausted but we were just so excited to join in the party! Suddenly a song flash into my mind: "Tonight~ We are young~"!
