Umami Steamboat Buffet @ Sunway Mentari

Steamboat restaurants are sprouting all over Sunway Mentari, and this day we tried out Umami steamboat restaurant for the sake of voucher purchased online

Interior of the restaurant, the ambient is comfortable and not so hot and noisy as other steamboat restaurants

Salad and fried dim-sum can be found here as well, beverage is included with the buffet, as for dessert, they have fruits, jelly and ice cream

We had herbal soup and fish head soup that night, but both taste quite similar; I like the way of cooking here which is using induction stove rather than gas stove as this emit less heat to surrounding and darling dislikes the gas smell also

Eat all these first while waiting the soup to boil, everything is yummy, especially the fried chicken wings, I ate a lot!

Umami does not offer you BBQ steamboat, but they do provide some BBQ food and most importantly there is staff do all this kind of BBQ job so you are safe from oil spill 

Honestly I love their ready-served food and BBQ food more than steamboat one, may be I just simply dislike hard boiled food

And finally, we had ice kacang and ice cream to fix our ultimate satisfaction

You can easily see Umami from LDP highway, and overall the food tastes good, choices are abundant but soup base I can say is just so-so
