Skytrex Adventure

I love outdoor activities very much, especially those adventurous and sweating one, I just don't wanna miss one. The feeling of overwhelmed by the Mother Nature is just simply great, especially in greenery earth. Youngsters should not wait a minute to delay things they love to do, so this day we dated Jonathan's couple to come along for the Skytrex Adventure to boost our adrenalin rush and challenge my serious height phobia. I guess my height phobia is cured after this activity as I don't feel scare already when riding on Ferris wheel in Genting Highland afterwards.

The Skytrex Adventure is located at the other side of Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam botanical garden. I visited the botanical garden once just for sight seeing and have never been to visit the skytrex park. Other than Skytrex, there are a lot more things to see such as 4 seasons house and other mini gardens. Actually I quite like this botanical garden because it is clean, big and beautiful. Free shuttle bus is available to travel you to different mini gardens, another option is renting a bicycle.

During the day of our skytrex adventure, the botanical garden is having a Hari Bertemu Pelanggan event, there are free food and music performance for all visitors, the satay was awesome but we did not eat much as just had a full breakfast

Handcrafted products are sold here

Photobucket
Skytrex bus that bring us to the adventure spot, it has a different route with the botanical garden shuttle bus. But the staff is very friendly and helpful, he will make sure participants in his name list get to the right bus.

Just few minutes bus ride and we reached the place

DSC05162
Finally we made up our mind to come here! I was actually waiting long~

Procedure to work on

Photobucket
While getting to the check in counter, saw people have fun with the little adventure

Photobucket
The little adventure is suitable for kids and people who do not wanna take up too much challenge

DSC05167
They own a picnic deck, but no food is sold there, so gotta bring your own one!

Photobucket
So excited to get check in with the extreme challenge, actually I have serious height phobia

DSC05177
The very helpful staff that assist us on making registration and renting on locker and bottle holder

DSC05178
Bought ourselves a pair of gloves at RM3 (Optional) and rent a bottle holder, skytrex really understand our needs as they just provide anything you require!

9
Locker can be rented at only RM1

DSC05175
The extreme challenge has a real long route which will take us about 2-3 hours to complete

DSC05184
After registration and go toilet, we got ourselves a safety harness

DSC05186
Ready to go!

6
It is fun to have Jonathan and Alicia come together!

DSC05188
We first proceeded to the training station for safety briefing

DSC05190
We were briefed how to work on with the hook

Photobucket
The staff Ivy demonstrated us the skill to pass all obstacles and precautions to bear in mind

DSC05191
The simple hook can actually sustain the body weight of us, and don't worry to fall down as long as you make sure your hooks are clasped properly

Photobucket
Start our first training, Ivy will remind and correct you if you do anything wrong here. The training here is important because not all platform has a standby guide, she will make sure you do correctly to prevent accident

Small flying fox for training purpose

DSC05205
Every station has a label to teach you how to handle your hook, just in case you don't remember what Ivy has taught

DSC05202
Our 1st challenge was to climb up this 14m ladder, I don't feel scare while climbing as I never looked down! But I climbed it exhaustingly as my arms are strengthless

DSC05210
Look down from the 14m top

DSC05230
2nd challenge, flying fox from 14m high! Very scare and I actually take long time to make first move of sliding down

5
3rd challenge

DSC05214
Crawl over the slightly slanted net, quite easy though

DSC05224
Ready to go for 4th challenge

4

DSC05221
4th challenge is to crawl the net again, but this time is more slanting one

DSC05226
It is quite hard to move in a net as you will tend to sink down

DSC05220
Each challenge can sustain 2 players, and each platform can sustain 3-4 players, make sure you don't follow the people in front too near!

DSC05219
At the platform after the 4th challenge, 5th challenge is flying fox again, this time was not as scare as the first time already

DSC05236
The 6th challenge, looked difficult but it is actually quite easy to walk on cable

DSC05238
7th challenge is monkey bars, I did not hang but slide like flying fox instead as really no energy for my arms to support my weight. Then we got to jump over to another platform by coarse rope like tarzan (8th challenge), however the distance is really very short, I can cross over without the rope as well

DSC05241
9th challenge, and the most challenging one, we spent the most energy and time here as the tube is keep swinging and we found very hard to balance ourselves, not to say even moving forward

DSC05246
The 10th challenge, this is comparatively easier but still I take up a lot of effort to finish it as the rope is not so stiff as the cable, thus I found it quite hard to balance also

DSC05250
11th challenge, much easier!

DSC05254
12th challenge, climb the ladder again, ladder is the second most challenging activity after the tube crossing, I need to stop and rest for every 2 climbed steps

DSC05257
The 13th challenge, cable walking with one cable to hold, easy job!

DSC05259
Easy but long way to go

DSC05263
14th challenge, flying fox again

DSC05270
15th challenge, cable walking with two cables to hold

DSC05267
In case you wish to quit the game, there are some emergency exits available

Photobucket
16th challenge, bridge crossing and this is quite swinging

DSC05273
17th challenge, highest, longest and last flying fox of the game

2
18th challenge, bridge crossing with net enclosed, easy though

DSC05280
But it is quite high from ground level

Photobucket
19th challenge, climb down the ladder, a lot easier than climb up and I can move fast already

DSC05287
This little pulley can support up to 136kg! And we climbed down by its help~

DSC05293
20th challenge, if we can walk easily on cable, this definitely not a problem to us!

1

DSC05295
21st challenge, I have tube phobia and thought this would be very hard for me to move on, but surprisingly it is not as swinging as the 9th challenge, probably being stabled by the wood block already

Photobucket
22nd challenge, cable walking with handles~ I found it easier to hold the cable instead of the triangle handle as it just make you unbalance only

Photobucket
The challenge we did not play, as it is another route and if we play this we got to skip challenge 21st and 22nd. I guess this would be harder for me as the tubes are kept swinging and I got to rely on arm strength and jump like tarzan!

Photobucket
Last challenge of the day, crawling over the net to reach the exit point!

DSC05319
Yeah, finally we made it!

Photobucket
We were so hungry and exhausted after the game, thus got back to the entrance door there to have some free food but yummy satay and fruits were finished, left the lemang, redang chicken and fried mihun soup, all are delicious! Thanks for the hospitality~

Thought we will get fatigued after all these? Nope, we had second round outing
When come to play, never feel tired!
