Halloween Horror Spirits @ Genting Highlands

As an authentic and traditional Chinese, I had never celebrated Halloween before and never knew how fun can Halloween bring to me, until this year Genting organized a Halloween party at their outdoor theme park, I just knew Halloween can be so crazily fun and I am totally in love with it!

I am quite timid and never ever dare to step into cinema for horror movie again after my first experience on Juon, I thought I will be frightened and could not sleep after joining this event, but fact turned out in opposite way, I just can't help myself enjoy more and had so much fun instead of scariness!

This event only held 4 days, which were 19, 20, 26, 27 of October from 8pm to 11pm, only for 13 years old and above. The whole theme park was decorated to spooky one, and 5 major zones were mapped out which are: Horror circus, Bridge of helplessness, Hospital hallway spirits, Horror movie night and Spirits free zone. Last Saturday, we were here for horror!

Got up to Genting Highlands straight after our skytrex adventure, although tired and exhausted but we were just so excited to join in the party! Suddenly a song flash into my mind: "Tonight~ We are young~"!

Got myself ready with the wristband, the entrance fees only cost us RM25 per pax, normal price was RM40 but we had 35% discount for Genting member

A very cold night that veiled with serious fog and this add extra mystery to the theme park

Oh my god, look at the crowd! And people just don't bother about the queue~

Even the entrance door had become so creepy!

When we first entered the theme park, we were already at Zone 4: Horror Movie Night, scare yet excited!

Horror Movie Night is a party zone flooded with most infamous horror movie characters! You will see the lively performance by them at the grave stage!



Dance performance was the highlight of the night!



So happening!

Oppa Ghost Style successfully heated up the atmosphere of the night to max!

Nothing scare inside, covered my eyes occasionally and thought got ghost will appear suddenly but got cheated

With pretty Chinese ghost who committed suicide (I guess so because people like to dress in red when they are attempt to commit suicide)

At Zone 1: Horror Circus

Terrifying clown and greenish purple atmosphere are always the elements of fallen cursed circus! Scare scare...

The prettiest ghost of the night! So in love with her and she has a sweet smile! 

 And we had our second ride Spinner at Zone 1

Move on to Spirits free zone and ride on to Ferris wheel!

Time passed fast and we decided to give up other rides first and proceeded to Zone 3: Hospital hallway spirits before we missed the chance to visit the ultimate attraction of the night! The queue line here was crazy and messy, we did not know where is the final end of the queue, sorry if we did cut your queue 

Actually when we first got into theme park, we already noticed many people queuing up in Zone 3, thought there would be less people if we come back later and visit other place first, but ended up more and more people squeezing here when night got darker. Luckily we still had a chance to visit in before the theme park hit 11pm! 

Spent 1 hour in queue just to get scared by the spooky nurse, doctor and patient inside for around 5 minutes, they were success because I, who aware very much, eventually did get frightened by one of the ghost patient and the damn fake hair hung over the walkway, shouted crazily while not daring to move a step forward, quite a shame!

Then we had our third ride, the roller coaster~ It was so fun to speed in such a foggy creepy night!

A-not-so-scary roller coaster among all roller coaster I've ever ridden as it has a buffer when free fall from the top point~

The only one I dare not try~ Too high for me!



Forth ride of the night, the pirate ship! We did all ride opened that night, only except the space shot

After the pirate ship, time hit 11.43pm, just when we were about to leave, we met bunch of ghosts passing through~

Lucky us to have a picture with so many ghosts!

At the exit, felt so fun with this event! Thanks Genting for giving us entry discount and of course not to forget darling who drove me up to Genting for this party, I knew you are actually extremely tired and exhausted!
