I am definitely a cheese lover and couldn't imagine how is life without cheese. Longing for cheese fondue since last week when viewed cheese photos from instagram and get to know a western food restaurant nearby that served good cheese fondue with low price. I couldn't wait any longer and decided to pay a visit on this weekend, to Rendezvous Steak Garden.
Rendezvous Steak Garden has two branches, one at kampung pandan and another one at Cheras Taman Billion, more info at their website

Our large size lime and plum juice (RM8.80), see its size to darling's S2 phone~
Grilled Salmon Fish (RM19.80), very common, nothing special as it is just pan-fried and not recommended as the fish is a bit dry
Fried Salted Egg Sotong (RM12.80), taste is okay but texture is too firm and dry
Fondue Cheese Chicken (RM16.80), they have fish as alternative
This pot of cheese fondue is fulled with garlic bits, and with strong butter and milk taste
My set to dip with cheese, nice match
The flame is quite frightening, but will be died out in about 5 minutes, so just wait until all shredded cheese melted out. This fondue is good at first bite, but feel not so cheesy afterwards, it is just all about garlic, butter and milk smell, with very little bit cheesy aroma. Prove: See the lack of cheese pull from my dipped popcorn chicken. However, it is considered good at its price, could be better if garlic can be reduce more.
I am looking for a thicker, stronger and more cheesy cheese fondue; a more traditional Swiss style one. Die for cheese.
