Sunway Lagoon Theme Park

A returning post after many months of blog-resting, as recently don't really have motivation and time to write a blog. However, today is Sunday and I do love to do something other than writing my Master's thesis. So, I come up with my pending blog post about the Sunway Lagoon fun trip which happened 2 months ago, what a good delay, but it happened to be rather than not right?

I always wanted to revisit Sunway Lagoon after so many years and I got my strong determination when knowing that it has built Vuvuzela which is the largest water ride in the world. The theme park ticket is rated at RM70, but Sunway Lagoon is celebrating its 20 years old birthday so we managed to grab a ticket at only RM20 at 20th of every month for the first 1000 customers. Quickly pay your worth visit until the promotion ends in October!

We got our wristband for only RM20 by queuing one day before, start to queue since 7.30pm and bought the ticket at 9pm but end up realized that people who come at 10pm managed to get it also  Well, it actually depends your luck, so do come early to avoid disappointment.

Sunway Lagoon has 5 parks but it is definitely not able to finish all within one day, so choose your preference to spend time in. We were here mainly for the water park, so after paying for locker and dump everything in it, we go for the highlight of the day -- Vuvuzela! It is so much fun especially if you were seated at left position of the tube which move you down backwards. We had it 3 times without even getting bored 

To have super exciting experience, my advice is to sit at left side of tube (where the guy in red color shirt planned to get on) which you will be moving down backwardly, then you will feel faster and experience free fall intensely.

On queuing for the snake slide (African Pythons) and Cameroon Climb

Outside the Waterplexx 5D cinema~ Didn't feel to take photo but being forced by somebody so end up with this face  The Waterplexx 5D (a combination of 3D movie, motion of chair and water splashing) is interesting but I don't quite enjoy keep on being splashed by water as my eyes really felt uncomfortable and I gotta always wipe off the water stain on my 3D glasses to have clear vision for the movie. Futhermore, I felt the motion of chair can be gone more vigorously than the current one, this is not exciting enough.

Moved to Kalahari Kids zone to have fun of big bucket water splashing 

Then the adult version of big bucket splashing happened to be in Giant Tipping Bucket zone 

All gone crazy with this gallons volume of water!

At the Flow Rider to experience surfing 

It is fun but so difficult to control the surf board and get balance, end up got washed away within 5 seconds 

After the water park, we intended to play in extreme park but most of the play required dried body, so we need to return here only after the bath. What we did is traveling back to water park by flying fox, which is a big mistake as it took us about 1 hour to queue up and play 

The flying fox is actually quite bored, short-distance and not exciting enough if you have experience one in Skytrex. However, it has magnificent view when you sliding down and many people down at the surf beach will splash water on you, kinda interesting~ 

Conquered the flying fox, yeah!

Our next stop is amusement park and on the way met the two beautiful big cat!

Tiger actually loves to sleep till the sun goes down, see how they lazily slacked off even the time was already 2.30pm.

The two significant and killing rides in amusement park, the Pirate's Revenge and Tomahawk, keep spinning and spinning endlessly, sorry I just couldn't persuade myself to have a try.

The roller coaster Lost City of Gold, fun and not as thrilling as Genting's one where buttock can easily leave the seat which could feel the free fall, I guess it is the slope problem. This is a safer version and good for entry level.

The boring Butch Cassidy Trail

After the bath, we planned to go back to extreme park again from amusement park via this suspension bridge

I was not able to finish this bridge during my last visit where I was still a primary school kid because height phobia stopped me, but now I could even still with a little bit panic.

Glad that we still managed to play most of the attractions in extreme park although time was running out, we played till the last minute!

All terrain vehicle (ATV)

This was my first time experience ATV, would like to go for a tougher and more thrilling one in nature if there is a chance

When we were about to leave the park at 6pm, the two tigers finally woke up and played around

We missed the scream park this time, what a regret. We also missed the wildlife park, but not feel sad at all because not intended to visit this park as we have no interest to animals and had visited to zoo and bird park before already.

Spent RM30 for this souvenir 

Sunway Lagoon is a nice theme park and looking forward to come again in near future! We played a lot and there is still a lot we didn't manage to play!
