Yesterday we were at OverTime in Melaka, this was my second time visit to Overtime, the first time was with gang of old school friends visiting Penang branch, both time give me great experience, I love this kind of place (not too crowded and complicated as disco club, but still can enjoy the loud rock music and feel its base, of course the good food too!), definitely will visit again.
Yesterday was Saturday night, coincidently meet the Lichun (立春) day, which signifies the start of the spring, where the Chinese Zodiac year is officially cutoff and the Dragon year begins. Therefore, we three were all in exciting mood, don't feel to stay at home, we wanna go out have fun. We were crazy outing whole night, dinner and walk around in Jonker street, then move to Overtime for a drink and enjoy the band, and finally had dimsum supper for the last round.
This Overtime branch is located at Hatten square, Melaka Raya. Here has abundant of parking lots and I personally think that this location is much safer compared to Penang Timesquare branch which I visited for the first time
We decided to take the inside seat because it is air-conditioned and we were about to enjoy the band show later! The show is usually start at 9.30pm, but yesterday the singer was late, so we actually had the show at approximately 10pm.

The Chinese new year fiesta! Since the band was not yet start, so we order some drinks and have blackjack first! Spent a sweet and fun moment with darling and his mum!
My mocktail-Virgin Pinacolada (RM12), although the Starker beer is good, but I was not in drinking alcoholic beverage mood, so order this mocktail instead~ This mocktail tastes good as well, just like pineapple yoghurt drink

Darling's liqueur Blue Curacao (RM11), a deep blue orange-flavored liqueur, well, I think it tastes quite harsh to me, but not bad because it comes with a hint of sweetness

After a long waiting, finally the band crew showed up. Kinda disappointed because the lady's voice was not as amazing as the one I heard in Penang Timesquare Overtime branch
While we were delighting with the performance, darling order the crunchy pork-Rm25 (烧肉) as snack for us to munch. The roast is so crunchy and nice-flavored, also it has the best proportion of fat-meat 3:7 layer. Not to forget the chili sauce, so aromatic and not too spicy, indeed I can say that the chili sauce is much better than many chicken rice stall.
Overtime actually provides quite good food, so you can come here for proper dining too, they have comfortable dining area outside bar side
Another side of the dining area, outdoor too, but you can enjoy the comfy night breeze and enjoy the scenery
Oh I am so in love with this cushion zone, hope next time I can get this seat
