炒包菜。茄汁干烧鸡

那天煮了超干的晚餐中Darling投诉后,好啦吸取教训,以后没煮汤的日子,我的菜肴就必须要湿塔塔,吃饭才容易下咽。不然,糙米饭已经够干了,菜肴也干干的话,肯定又要被讲了,哈哈~

我煮饭有个原则,就是一定要有蔬菜,因为健康嘛,而且Darling每次做工时,午餐都是荤食,因为他不会主动拿蔬菜的,如果有也是吃一些不健康的蔬菜像四川菜,梅菜,咸菜等;所以,如果我有自己下厨,就一定要煮蔬菜,才能平衡回。如果自家煮都不能煮得健康,那何必自己下厨呢? 所以我煮的饭是糙米,用的油是米糠油,下的盐是喜玛拉雅100%纯真盐,而且坚持不放味精~ 不过我还没有钱到煮有机菜,有机肉,有机鸡,有机etc~ 哈哈

这就是我用的米糠油,是妈咪介绍我用的~ 在高温之下,不容易变质,虽然比一般的食油贵,但是基于健康,无所谓啦~ 用它来炸鸡,油真的还不会变黑咧,绝世好油呀~

A date with Marvel's

Captain America: The First Avenger is now the hit of the season, everybody is blathering on about it now. Being a big fan of Marvel's superheroes, of course I won't miss it. Although it was just on screen since 28 July 2011, we just simply can't wait anymore. The seats are almost full even we online purchase the movie ticket.

I am totally in love with Marvel's superheroes since my secondary school after Spider Man. The superheroes I love the most was Thor, and now, I am in love with Captain America (Steve Rogers), both of them are so men! I just simply can't withdraw my eyes from them. Thor is just too sexy and wild, while this Captain America is so cute, kind and look innocent!

Trust me, don't ever miss out this movie, it is incredibly great! Although it is a 2 hours movie, but you will never feel why time passes so slow in the theater. Much greater than Transformer 3 I can say, in fact I don't think Transformer 3 is nice,  the front part is kinda boring, keep talking about the history of NASA, while the Autobots and Decepticons are just fight for nothing, and Sam seemed like lost his importance in the movie, while the girl is just like vase, standing there to show off her good body figure. In my humble opinion, I think it is quite lack of story line compared to previous series.

I hope The Avengers of Marvel's superheroes can release as soon as possible, can't wait anymore to see all of them gather out together to fight for the world! I guess it will be an amazing scene ever after.

又是另一个下厨的日子
从小,我喜欢的书籍就是食谱,虽然不会煮,
但,光看那些图片,就让我兴奋好久。
也对,从不喜欢文字的我,除了寓文故事和漫画,就只有食谱才有多多的图画。

现在还是那么喜欢翻看食谱,
不同的是,我会慢慢开始尝试下厨,
可能离乡背井吧,
得自己下厨,不然光吃外面的, 厌倦之余,对健康也不好吧;
另外,当然也是因为我有兴趣咯。

Weird Combo @ Young Heart, Pulau Tikus

Why weird combo? This word is from Tze Im, and that is so true! Yeah, 4 of us are so rare hang out together like this. That night was a great night, we had so much things to chat about, from career, love, beauty to etc etc.. and I realized we are no longer wet behind the ears, we are all grew! They became so mature, except me I guess, because they are already a player in the realistic society, they know what they actually dream of; while I am so unprepared, and therefore I decided to further my study to stable myself down. Yeah, now I am the only student among them. 

This night was purely a spontaneous gathering, calling up people instinctively, not sure where to dine in, and finally we spontaneously suggest to this place: Young Heart, located at Pulau Tikus. It ought to be a terrace house but they change it to restaurant, just next to the Pulau Tikus market area.

Date with old friends @ Food Gallery, Penang Times Square

This was a great gathering, erm, should be farewell instead, before our dear friend Siew Min goes to UK to pursue her study. Here is the place we chose -- Food gallery at Penang Times Square. No doubt there are so much choices of stall in the food court, until we need to spend almost half an hour to take decision. However, I am not sure whether we are weak in choosing nice food or whatsoever, we all don't think that the food there taste nice.

ABC汤。蟹柳萝卜煎蛋

最近买了许多下厨工具,有steamer, slow cooker, hot plate, 实在让我更添下厨乐趣,而且也省了许多下厨的功夫和时间。Thanks darling for all the lovely kitchen equipments! Your money will not be wasted as I have increased my interest in cooking, you will have enjoyed more home-cooked healthy meals! I dare not say delicious yet, because my skill is yet to be improved! 还有妈咪给的大型oven, 希望在不久的将来我会开始烘焙的旅程!可是烘焙不像煮菜呀,分量如果拿捏得稍微有点不对,或技术不到家的话,可是会完完全全的败掉咧,不止浪费材料,还浪费精神!还是先努力钻研好了,要多看食谱和烹饪节目才可以咯~

有了slow cooker后,我还蛮喜欢煲汤的,因为方便又省时。全部材料丢下去煮,又可以去睡觉或出门,晚上又是一道菜了。而且汤清淡不油腻,最适合全年都在减肥的我啦~ 如果分量太多,当晚吃不完的话,第二天又可以再弄烧,加点冬粉,又是美味健康又简单的一餐啦~而且不用出去打包晒太阳,最适合蜡烛公主的我啦~

My Honeymoon Dessert @ IOI Boulevard

I don't have a sweet tooth, therefore I rarely hang out to dessert house or barely cook any sweet dishes, unless there is a celebration awaiting me! But this time was quite different, because dessert had become our main dinner. Well, this happened entirely because of the online voucher matter again. I was so greedy until bought a total value of RM50 voucher (which only cost RM25, super worthy isn't it?), just for dessert! Initially I was planned to use the voucher in different days, but Darling said since we were here already why not finish all the voucher? OMG, this means each of us has to consume RM25 dessert on that particular night. Don't worry about our stomach space, because the desserts are not cheap anyway, clear off the voucher is not really that difficult! 

My Honeymoon Dessert is considered quite a good place to have delicate sweet course, nice environment but so SILENT, not even a single song is played and apparently we have to talk softly as well. This really annoyed me because I felt so tension while having my dainty dessert, what a contradiction!

那一年的情人节,他送给她一盒巧克力,于是他们相爱了。
每天下班的时候,她都认真地把自已收拾整洁,然后等他
来接她去逛街,到处找新开的饭馆去吃各种小吃。

第二年的情人节,他送她一套价格不菲的套裙,她搂着他当

第三年的情人节,他送她一颗戒指,于是她被他套住了,
终于嫁作了他妇。再一个情人节到来的时候,

她看了一眼说:「这要多少钱啊?情人节的玫瑰最贵了。」
他望着系着围裙,不再把自已收拾得整洁漂亮的她,

Italian Cone Pizza @ IOI Boulevard

Pizza can be made in cone shape, sounds incredibly? Well, actually this restaurant had been introduced by Malaysia's food introductory program Hochak before, and it really impressed me, not only because I am truly a pizza lover, indeed I think that this kind of pizza form really looks special and convenient to be consumed (at least hand will not be dirty after all)~

Italian Cone Pizza serves not only entirely cone pizza, they have other Italian food such as pasta, baked rice and other side dishes. We didn't order much that night, as we had another round of dessert after this. It was quite regretful for not ordering more, because they really serve best cone pizza, the filling was mouthwatering, not stingy on cheese and ingredients even though the cone looks small if you compare and imagine the ordinary pizza folded in cone shape.

Here the cone pizza we ordered, Tropical Chicken, thin and a tad of crunchy dough, enclosing chicken ham, chicken sausage, pineapple, Italian tomato sauce and Mozzarella cheese, oh so yummy! The cheese not only served as topping, in fact all ingredients inside the cone are tightly bound with plenty of cheesessssssss!

美食之家Maxim Dim Sum @ Farlim

港式点心一直都是我的心头好,只可惜,我在KL并不常吃,因为KL点心的价格真的不怎么便宜,而且我吃点心都会叫好多笼才吃得饱的叻~

回到槟城就不一样啦,每一次妈咪爸比送我去搭长途巴士时都会先带我去吃港式点心早餐,这种习惯已经慢慢变成我们的“传统”了~我很喜欢槟城的点心,家乡的食物就是特别不一样,总觉得虾较新鲜,食物更合我口味,最重要是价廉物美~

美食之家,是一家卖美味点心的餐馆,除了点心,他们也提供各类煮炒服务,除了各式大排档菜肴,还有许多面食和饭类供大家选择。以前我们都是去到Sg. Nibong那边吃的,每次都高朋满座,要找个位子还真的不简单啊~ 现在美食之家终于在我家附近开了一间分行,真是太好了,地点就在发林,和大草场的篮球场同一排~ Update: 美食之家在发林的分行已搬到Farlim Kuta Bali,Permata游泳池那里了

Mum's Birthday @ Azuma

June is always a busy month for celebration, despite Father's day and darling's birthday, there is also a big day for mum, Yeah it was her birthday! In Chinese tradition, every birthday star ought to eat Mee-suah which signifies longevity. So, in her lunar birthday, I and daddy brought her to eat Mee-suah.
