Marché (Pronounced as Mar-Shay) is located at The Curve with a very obvious trademark: the green Cow. Every time passing through The Curve, Marché is like so mysterious to me and I was very curious what is it actually. Glancing through the main door, I saw many stalls inside, with lotsa raw and uncooked materials putting in front of the stall, and so many people crossing each other, and they looked so busy! I thought it was buffet initially. But it is totally the other way round, everything inside costs you a value, and you pay for what you eat.
Marché is a market concept restaurant, with 12 food stations available, and it has several dining area with different themes. Everything you eat is cooked upon your request, except for soup, salad and some bakeries. There is no menu, you have to walk around to different food stations and hunt for food. The food choices and its price are wrote in blackboard and hang on top of the stall. All guests were given a market passport, whenever you order food they will give you a stamp on your market passport. This is quite a good way to dine in, because it is so easy to pay in AA style. The only weakness is the stamp is not come with the price of your order, you will indeed be surprised when you bring this market passport to the cashier, because the environment inside giving you a buffet style feeling~

Never worried about your table when you are shopping for food because it is reserved!
Of course, the "Free Seat" is on the other side
The market passport will be given to each head, regardless of your age (even children)
Never lose this because RM200 will be fined!
Stamping gained from some food stations
This mushroom soup (RM7) had drawn my attention since I first entered
I love its color, simply tell me it is irresistible
wow, so much creamy and thick~
with strong fragrance of mushroom, making it so velvety
Blended mushroom bits accompanied with extra servings of oven-baked bread cubes simply gives me perfect combination of taste, just a spoonful will right away penetrate your mouth cavity with extensive aroma and taste
Fritto Calamari (RM14.50), accompanied with garden salad
Not quite satisfied because the batter is separated from the calamari itself when consumed
However the portion is really huge
Given a small bowl for dressing, I chose Tartar Yogurt
The yellow color is their homemade mayonnaise
Love homemade mayonnaise much than tartar yogurt, because the latter one is quite tasteless and more sour
Can't imagine how big portion the calamari is? Here I showed you
I was actually full after eaten both of these, although it is shared
But I still wanna hunt for other food, as I said, the environment had misled me that I was eating buffet
the Strawberry grilled chicken breast (RM15.50), accompanied with mushroom sauce
taste like satay, but don't feel any strawberry taste with it
Grilled half chicken (RM17.50), accompanied with black pepper sauce
The meat is juicy and tender, but not with strong flavor
the black pepper sauce is nothing different from the mushroom sauce, they tasted alike!
During the Earth hour, all watermelon juice is half price (4.90)!
Watermelon juice is our last order, we cant fit in any cakes, dessert, and my Rosti anymore, bloody full!
