累透透游新加坡-Day 1（聚会日）

我真的很糟糕，去年8月去新加坡的游记现在才要开始写，如果不是这个2012圣诞节要去柔佛和新加坡度过，我可能还提不起劲来写游记吧。还有好多好多游记在等着我呢，离现在最久的有沙巴游记，很想写，可是记忆越来越模糊了，希望真的可以完成吧，因为那是我第一次和中学朋友一起去旅行。

言归正传，这个新加坡之旅真的是累死我们了。原因是我们并没有订新加坡的酒店，反而是住在Darling姐姐柔佛的家，每天一早搭的士和巴士过关卡，到了新加坡后也是全程乘搭交通工具，不然就走路，晚上又排队等巴士从新加坡回柔佛，每天这样日出晚归的游了新加坡5天。

每天七早八早醒，然后搭的士去关卡，再搭巴士去新加坡~ 累是累，可是可以省下在新加坡的一大笔住宿费

113炒粥 @ Fettes Park

那天回槟城，约了几位好久不见的好友出来聚聚、吃吃好料、看看电影、打打牙胶，充实又美好的一天就这样过了。午餐我们约在 Gurney Plaza 吃泰国餐，过后去看Expandables， 一部老人壮汉演的动作片，还好而已，就只是拿着枪一直射杀的戏。剧情不是很记得了，这就是我不喜欢上电影院看戏的原因，戏票不便宜，可是每次看完戏后我又会很快忘记剧情~ 而且有些电影院真的冷得我很不舒服，对单片又不怎么感兴趣的我近期真的越来越少上电影院了，除非真的有很好看很好看的电影，又或者真的无聊透顶才会光顾电影院。可能人越来越老了，喜欢的东西越来越不一样，以前我可是超爱去电影院的，现在的我宁可呆在舒服的家上网看电视更好。

从电影院出来，我们到Straits Quay晃晃，过后肚子也饿了，就到馨仪提议的炒粥店吃晚餐。地点位于 Tanjung Tokong 的 Fettes Park, Prima Tanjung building 对面，和驰名的大肥佬鸡饭和 James Foo 西餐店同排。

炒粥是这里的招牌，当然也有做煮炒生意。以上是炒粥的价格，我们点了RM25的

My 23rd #1 @ Crepe Cottage, Gurney

I celebrated my 23rd birthday in Penang last month. Although darling was not with me, but I was totally in fun with family and friends, surprisingly. I'd like to thank my family and friends for giving me so much love and care, it really made me feel I am not alone! Glad to have all of you in my life, when I grow older, I realized how much important you all to me. Again, even though darling was not with me, I still can feel his warm and love across the air. Birthday is not a big deal, just the warm and cozy atmosphere surrounded by friends and the loved one is the most essential part.

About few days before my birthday, my old friend PJ suddenly asked if I was free to hang out together. She asked whether I wan to go Redbox or just dinner. Initially I thought  it's just a simple gathering between me, Xinyi, PJ and Jamie. Until the day, I just knew Stimfish, Imietze joined in too. I felt curious because the gang that out for that night was weird. Thanks to Xinyi who didn't require much effort to cheat and withdraw my curiosity and suspicion on the secret surprise. 

Me: Why so weird one??? I mean the people who go tonight. (Thinking there might be a secret birthday celebration for me)

Xinyi: Where got weird? Can't simply go out have dinner meh? So long time didn't meet up liao! Everytime CNY also call up everybody to meet de lah! 

Me: Oh.. but today is not CNY mah, some more today is weekday, everybody still got to work.. meeting up today is weird, weird people weird gathering!

Xinyi: Just go for dinner, long time no chat only! 

Me: Oh ic! (and feel embarrassing for thinking people go for my birthday celebration but they aren't, well, a little bit down anyway hahaha)

Then, when Imietze arrived at Xinyi house, we car-pooled to Crepe Cottage at Gurney!

Here is the place~ A simple and vintage home-cooked style restaurant, located at the busy yet classy road of Gurney, kinda contrary~

Weird Combo @ Young Heart, Pulau Tikus

Why weird combo? This word is from Tze Im, and that is so true! Yeah, 4 of us are so rare hang out together like this. That night was a great night, we had so much things to chat about, from career, love, beauty to etc etc.. and I realized we are no longer wet behind the ears, we are all grew! They became so mature, except me I guess, because they are already a player in the realistic society, they know what they actually dream of; while I am so unprepared, and therefore I decided to further my study to stable myself down. Yeah, now I am the only student among them. 

This night was purely a spontaneous gathering, calling up people instinctively, not sure where to dine in, and finally we spontaneously suggest to this place: Young Heart, located at Pulau Tikus. It ought to be a terrace house but they change it to restaurant, just next to the Pulau Tikus market area.

Date with old friends @ Food Gallery, Penang Times Square

This was a great gathering, erm, should be farewell instead, before our dear friend Siew Min goes to UK to pursue her study. Here is the place we chose -- Food gallery at Penang Times Square. No doubt there are so much choices of stall in the food court, until we need to spend almost half an hour to take decision. However, I am not sure whether we are weak in choosing nice food or whatsoever, we all don't think that the food there taste nice.

Although the food are just so-so, this doesn't really affect our mood because we are here to meet up and chit-chat!

Jogoya @ Starhill

Jogoya's promotion on buy 1 free 1 is back to the town again! We opted for the lunch session, each person would just need to pay roughly RM49 to enjoy this feast. However, this is limited to only 2 hours due to excessive stream of people. Everything was being grabbed and expensive and hot items such as salmon sashimi, smoked tuna sashimi, cheese baked crab and etc were not refilled. Honestly, this was my first experience being expelled in Jogoya. When they urged customers to leave, I still not yet had my dessert!

2 hours for me is not quite enough. Why? Because we didn't know there is a time limitation, and we keep spending our time in chatting, taking photos, walk around to hunt food and etc. We wasted quite much of time in getting food because there is too many people, sometimes we would need to queue up in order to get the food. You cant imagine the flow of people, it is horrible~ just like pasar malam, so crowded and unorganized. I am not sure is this because of friday or same thing happens to monday till thursday. What I can see is so many corporates wearing formal attire present to grab the food. I was so wondering that they do not need to work on friday? Student group is even worse, once sashimi is out, they blocked the path and grabbed all sashimi. So it was ended up that all sashimi is taken by 1-2 persons only.

This thing wouldn't happen if there is no promotion, where everyone enjoys the smooth flow, fine dining without stress, and of course more supply from Jogoya. Jogoya is kinda smart, when the time is almost there, whatever stuff you ordered by the clips they will just ignore and withdraw your clip. Also, they will not refill the expensive items anymore. But it was lucky for me already because I took the earliest session which is 11.30am, at that time not many people yet and I was able to grab some of the foods which were not seen afterward already.

P/S: I don't think we actually ate a lot because all of these foods are shared! However, pretty full also!

元宵节之东禅寺

今年的元宵节，决定到东禅寺走一趟。在还没去到以前，就常听到不少人提及东禅寺，看了些照片，感觉挺不错的，对它固然抱着许多的期望~

长途跋涉(在banting,得经过3个toll,车程大概45分钟)，终于到了东禅寺。

一到那儿，就看到这游乐场的情景，感觉好像被商业化了~

摩天轮-法轮常转，有意思~

本人觉得啊，还是槟城极乐寺比较漂亮些，这里的灯火虽然不错看，但全部都是布制的，有点单调。极乐寺反而可以到处爬爬逛逛，因为是一间很"固体"的建筑物，这里就只是平地，再加些布制品而已。坦白说，到了那边是有点失望啦，毕竟我们是山长水远特地跑来参观的。应该仅仅一次而已吧。
