Kaffa at Straits Quay, so classic feel of it
A candle light dinner with family members were quite good and special after all
Menu of Kaffa
Story of Kaffa, well I have no patient to read all this
The restaurant is decorated with English Tudor style, quite a cozy one, but the space is quite small and we were quite annoyed by the noise from crowd
Soya Cereal (RM8.90), so creamy, thick and oaten~ Not too bad but definitely not a good choice to quench your thirst
Fresh Wild Mushroom Soup (RM14.50) - Combination of shitake, portobello, swiss button and oyster mushrooms served in a bread bowl
I would love this more if the bread is served hot and crispy~ The mushroom soup is not bad overall, thick and creamy taste
Seafood Galore (RM24.90) - Assortment of fish, prawns, calamari and french fries, served with lemon wedge and house tartar sauce
Fresh seafood was served, however the fish fillet was cooked too dry and hard, the other things were nothing special to shout about
Vietnamese Lemongrass Chicken (RM16.90) - Served with assorted vegetables and steamed rice
This one was quite good, I love so much the fragrant of lemongrass, and the chicken is quite tender, juicy and flavorful, just match nice with the ginger paste; vegetables were boiled just at its right condition and still with crunchy bite
Lamb Cutlets (RM28.90) - Served with mashed potatoes and assorted vegetables
Taste not bad, at least the weird and bad lamb smell was not there, and the meat cutlets were not too hard; mashed potatoes was a Japanese type one, quite nice!
