Due to the 2 free nights stay in Genting, we headed up to Genting on past Friday night and left on Sunday afternoon. The main purpose for this trip was the Party 21. However, it was just one night event, so how did we spend our other time in Genting? To be honest, I don't feel getting to Genting is a trip because of my frequent visits and I am kinda bored with the place. However, this time we tried out something different from casino and shopping which really raised up my interest --- to visit the Ripley's Believe It or Not~
Although this exhibition place was there quite long time ago, but I never pay a visit because I am always here with my parents, and they are always keen to rush into casino! As a responsibility of a good daughter, I have to accompany my mum to play those boring slot machines (I felt bored because I don't play and I just wait and watch other people play, but soon I found it getting interesting when people pay for me to play). Believe me, this place is fun and worth to pay for a visit. An entrance ticket for adult is RM22, there is a combo package which cost RM35 for the Ripley's and Haunted house, but we don't take that because we are afraid of the haunted one, scare cannot fall asleep in the night.
Inside has many stunning things to see, including the most impressive shrunken head, ancient torturing tools, vampire killing kits, matchsticks made Moscow St. Basil's Cathedral, weird costumes, interesting facts and artifacts, and many many more optical illusions. We only took picture of some parts, because really too much too see and not manage to capture everything~
I don't look fat compared to her right? *Self-cheating*
The judgement chair used by African tribal people to execute the accused as they believe the chair has the power to reveal the truth
I dare to sit and still stay alive because I am innocent~ =P
The Ripley's head statue, well don't feel it look alike
We have so much fun playing with those optical illusions
Many people actually being cheated by these replica tourists that taking photo, probably they were located at the cornering and the camera did come with flash light! We stayed there and watched and concluded that almost 99% of people pass through actually stop by to let them finished their photo-shooting session but ended up realized themselves were being cheated in about 5 seconds
Different types of barbed wire, but honestly I really cannot differentiate them!
Ancient Egyptian mummified cat and falcon, the cat even lived in Egypt over 2000 years ago!
Weird carving~
World's largest chair
Oldest bean
Oldest beer
Coffin with sharp nails
Vampire killing kit, come with cross and instruction, weird!
The old time horrible dentist chair and torturing chair~ I just realized that extracting a tooth in old time was really a horrible experience, the chair is equipped with head restrainer to prevent the kid running away, and the tooth is extracted in no anesthesia condition, with a tool called "dental key" with its claws tighten to a tooth and keep rotating to make the tooth loose until the tooth broke, and this caused jaw fractures and soft tissue damage, come on luckily I don't live in the past history
Luckiest chair made by lucky horseshoe, this one cheat people one because we didn't win in slot machines afterwards!
Wow!
The unicorn man!
Largest hand in the world!
Gold coin covered car, some coins stolen by people already!
Cute old time cash register~ Wonder whether the cash drawer will move out itself or not since no puller~
Innovative combination of bicycle and sewing machine, but what is the purpose?
Ankole skull
Oops! Books are dropping!
Is him heavy?
Distorted aliens!
I will look like this if I don't start controlling my diet and exercise!
Near-sighted fish
Well, she is unique but.....
Mermaid with monkey head!
Giant man-eating clam
Giant crab claw
The experience sharing of a man who attacked by white shark and did not die in documentary video, he had 432 stitches during the operation and all his organs were exposed when sending to hospital, oh the shark's teeth were like tiny saw!
Meet the tallest guy in the world!
Dinosaur egg...?
Almost approach to the end~ Good decoration but have no time and effort to read them one by one
Simply looks like Doraemon's time tunnel, don't u think so? It's actually a short walkway with spinning light on the wall that makes you can't walk in straight line and will feel very dizzy after went out from this enclosed walkway, I even fall onto the floor! And the mirror hang on the end wall will make you feel like your whole person and the door frame are swinging, I love this and we tried out a few times to walk straight, it is real fun!
Finally come to the end, we spent about 2 hours inside! Really worth to go!
Lastly, credit to Jonathan for this photo, according to the video after touching these African fertility statues will get pregnant! Whoever cannot pregnant can just pay RM22 rather than few thousands for clinical fertilization. Believe it or not!?
Oh my God, how come I can't remember inside got such things? I wonder how many things else I have ignored when walking through
