Sakae Sushi @ The Mines

It is a night we spontaneously go to The Mines, have no idea on what to eat for dinner, and spontaneously ended up with Sakae Sushi. Life has many things done spontaneously, but aren't they make life more colorful and full with surprise? I say this dining as a spontaneous one because we don't used to have fine dining on weekdays, just occasionally.

I like Sakae Sushi more than Sushi King, better and fresher ingredients, nicer food presentation, more delicious food, and therefore we shall pay extra for the greater one.

A good way of ordering dishes, no need to call and wait for the waiters to respond, really save up a lot of time~ And also there are plenty of photos loaded in the system, making our dining time less dull

I like their transparent kitchen, letting customers more confident with the food they served

Trio Ebi Maki (RM5.99) - tiger prawn, snow crabstick & shrimp roe, and the crispy-fried prawn that rolled inside just simply taste good

The salmon pieces are really damn fresh and soft!

My Sakae set (RM32.90) - consisted of breaded chicken with curry, teriyaki salmon and grilled scallops with codfish roe

I don't quite like the Japanese curry but the curry here is really nice, I have to admit I love it!

Sakae Chawanmushi (usual price: RM3.99) - steamed egg with vegetarian shark's fin, chicken, ginkgo, crabstick and mushroom

2011-10-06 19.10.32
Miso soup (usual price: RM1.99) - Thick yet not too salty bean paste soup

Even their rice is nicely decorated

The teriyaki salmon I have to say it is just so so, fresh but not a perfect one. However their grilled salmon is really good

The scallop is big, and the roe sauce is so creamy, yummilicious!!

Darling's curry katsu don (RM12.90) - The breaded chicken cutlet is so crispy but not oily, match perfectly with the Japanese curry, not like the usual Japanese curry that taste greasy and easily get satiated

Thanks darling for the treat!

and finally we ended our dinner with this Ika Ikura (RM7.99)

Fresh salmon roe and squid sashimi! I and darling both love sashimi and roe! However, I like small roe rather than big roe, the big roe taste too salty for me

All the photos here are captured by my Samsung Galaxy S2, I am really impressed with the good photo quality produced!
